Japan’s undying love for butter has turned the country into a nation of confectioneries with endless repertoire of delightful desserts every season.

The latest to hit  town is the “BUTTER ICE”, a velvety, smooth type of ice cream that will be released on June 25.

Tapping into butter’s nuttiness to bring out the full ice cream experience, Tokyo confectioner Canoble created a unique creamy blend that beautifully melts even when it’s frozen.

By blending together fresh butter, fermented butter and eggs using some culinary  techniques, Canoble was able to achieve the ultimate ice cream mouthfeel you will want to try this summer.
