Rare pieces of French glass art at the Mirai Museum of Art

A special exhibition featuring a range of French glass art pieces including that by world famous Émile Gallé, will be held at the Mirai Museum of Art in Yokohama from February 2 (Friday) to May 6 (Monday, holiday), 2024.
Émile Gallé was a French glass artist working within the Art Nouveau movement in the 19th century known for his thick glass objects etched with floral motifs.

The exhibited objects were collected by Teruhiko Tsurumi, a dentist, world-famous collector of glass art and founder of Minato Mirai Gakuen (school) in Yokohama.

10:00-17:00 (admission until 30 minutes before closing)
Open: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays (however, special opening from April 30 (Tuesday) to May 2 (Thursday))

Admission fee: Adults 800 yen, students 600 yen
Seniors (over 60 years old) 600 yen,

Groups (more than 10 people) 600 yen per person.
Junior high school students and younger, including caregiver with a disability certificate get in  free.
Fees for students, seniors, and people with disabilities apply when certificate is presented.
