Feast on fresh fish and seafood at the 2024 ‘Sakana’ Festival

Forget about waking up early to go to a fish market for fresh sashimi.

Because 80 food stores will be gathering at Yoyogi Park to showcase an array of dishes at Tokyo’s largest annual event dedicated to fish and seafood.

The Sakana Festival which will run for four days from February 22 until 25, features winter favorites ranging from fresh seafood bowls and local dishes to Western and Chinese dishes. Expect to find fresh tuna, salmon, blackfish, sea urchin, crab, scallops, oysters, and salmon roe prepared in many delicious ways.

Featuring tasty gourmet food and drink options aplenty, this promises to be a  great family day out and full tummies.

When: February 22 (Thursday) – 25 (Sunday), 2024
Time: 10:00-20:00 (Last day until 18:00 only)
