By on November 11, 2020

Tokyo is always at the forefront of urban illumination and this year is no different.

Starting November 21, Christmas lights in Ginza, Tokyo’s best-known shopping hub, will be seen along Chuo-dori and Harumi-dori and at the Ginza Mitsukoshi department store.

It will be followed by the opening of a lounging area called “Ginza Chandelier Sky” on the 7th floor of the main Mitsukoshi building (along the Ginza 4-chome intersection) on Nov 22.

The Ginza Chandelier Sky is a lounge open to the public which is 25 meters above the ground that offers a beautiful view of the city landscape. If you are going for early Christmas shopping, check it out.

Illumination ends Jan 11, 2021
