Non-native releases its new recovery sandals for summer.

By on June 6, 2023

The new summer shoe trend has reached fever pitch.

Now that the overall concept of ‘athleisure’ is taking off, the proliferation of podiatrist-approved extra-comfy, high-cushioned, and healing footwear called recovery sandals have bubbled up this season.

Japanese fashion brand ‘Non-native’ has jumped on the bandwagon. Meet “Rig”, Non-native’s first bespoke style recovery sandals designed to help support the feet and relieve strained muscles, reducing foot stress.

A lot of recovery sandals on store shelves are designed with different technology, with some having a foam foot bed while others have a very high cloud foam.

Rig comes in shock-absorbing sole that puts  less burden on the legs and hips and are perfect not just for athletes but also for people with back pains and hernia.

The nearly barefoot design of Non-native’s KAMBA sandals gives full support to feet with the use of a single rope and a pair of Velcro straps distributing leather only on key points.
