Totti Candy Factory

You don’t have to wait for Santa Claus to reward your well behaved kids with something nice and sweet.  Take them to Totti Candy Factory.

Totti Candy Factory, located in Harajuku,  sells traditional candies including cotton which you would only see at carnivals. I took my 5-year old there one Sunday and got her a gigantic (about five times the size of a human’s head), Rainbow ‘Wataame‘ or cotton candy (900 yen).  On the second floor are gummies and candies, chocolates and marshmallows, all prepared by a professional patissier.

Parents know that candy causes tooth decay. You most likely know that giving them sugar could lead to addiction. But for me, occasionally allowing her to eat sweets is, to some extent, a sensorial experience.
