IKEA’s special collection inspired by northern Europe’s sauna culture

Drawing inspiration from Sweden’s sauna culture, Finland’s apparel brand Marimekko designed its soon-to-be-released ‘Bastua (sauna) limited collection’ exclusively for IKEA family members.

The ‘Bastua Limited Collection’ by IKEA and Marimekko offers a range of items from wellness and self-care to saunas – with different print patterns of rhubarb leaves that grow near Finnish sauna huts. The print pattern was used too for thick floor cushions, tote bags, towels, and bathrobes.

Furniture and glass products will also be sold at IKEA stores nationwide from March 1, 2023 (Wednesday).
