‘Disney Animation: Immersive Experience’ at the Mori Arts Center Gallery

By on May 11, 2023

For the first time outside of North America, the Disney Animation Immersive Experience debuts in Tokyo.

The experience will transport visitors into the magical worlds of Disney characters and become one with them through a combination of fine artistry and nostalgic music using some of Disney’s most popular films from The Lion King and Peter Pan to Frozen and Encanto.

The gallery site is a large room with floor-to-ceiling projection screens. Various Disney artifacts projected on these screens greet visitors ranging from the Genie’s lamp in “Aladdin” to Arthur’s sword in “The Sword in the Stone.”

The narration opens with Mickey Mouse dressed in his “Fantasia” garb inviting the audience to “make a wish.”
