Strawberry and Chocolate Fair at Ikea Japan

The strawberry season in Japan is generally celebrated between late spring to early summer. But because the country produces the red berry on a massive scale through its greenhouse, people can enjoy it too from late autumn to early spring. 

Tokyo is notorious for expensive desserts restaurants. We’re talking about gourmet places you’d have to be earning a lot to even think about taking the family every weekend. But we all have sweet cravings from time to time.

If you want to go totally guilt-free on strawberry-filled desserts and pastries which are all under a thousand yen, don’t miss IKEA’s “Strawberry and Chocolate Fair”.

The family-friendly event runs for a month from Jan 16, 2020 at all IKEA stores nationwide.

Strawberry tower pancake
Regular price 699 yen (tax included), IKEA Family member price 499 yen (tax included)
Offer good from February 1 (Sat) to February 16 (Sun) 14:00 to 17:00

The Strawberry Cheese Pancake with fresh strawberries and honey cheese mousse offered until the end of January, will be replaced by Strawberry tower pancake and will be offered until February 16.

 

Strawberry and ricotta cheese salad 599 yen (tax included)

 Strawberry and ricotta cheese salad combines sweet and sour strawberries drizzled with balsamic vinegar.

 

Black soft ice cream 120 yen (tax included)

Offered at Ikea’s 1st floor bistro are chocolate strawberry sundae and black ice cream with a soft chocolate strawberry sauce. The Black soft serve is essentially made of strawberries tinted with bamboo charcoal.
