Newly renovated Bornelund shop in Shibuya now has a play corner for toddlers.

By on December 3, 2019

The newly renovated “Børnelund” flagship store in Shibuya has a new playground zone where parents and children can play a variety of curated toys from 15 countries around the world.

Toddlers are always looking for pure fun and excitement and are happy in a colorful crawling space. The indoor play area has everything including playmats, teeters and toys.

Given that children have different interests, a special corner for arts and crafts will strongly appeal to those who are really primed for the development of self-expression.

The brand which started in 2001 with young children in mind, has become a popular choice for parents searching for a new play experience for their toddlers or  toys that help with fine motor control or boost physical and mental development.

The renovated shop divided into 5 zones also includes a cafe, a baby napping corner and a meeting room where exchanges on child-rearing as well as upcoming toys and seminars take place.

The store comes replete with nursing facilities and diaper changing sheets.

Børnelund Shibuya is about 10 minutes on foot from JR Yamanote Line’s “Harajuku Station” and “Meiji Jingumae Station” by Chiyoda line.
