Japan Airlines seat map now tells passengers where baby seats are located.

Japan Airlines has solved one of the problems facing passengers today when they book a flight. Through the newly introduced baby seat map which tells passengers exactly where baby seats are located, you can choose not to be near them to avoid screams and shouts during the flight.

One passenger on a long-haul journey tweeted his appreciation for the carrier’s new service.

Families with children between 8 days and 2 years old will have a child icon displayed on their seats on the seat selection screen. This will signal to other people on board the flight that a child may be sitting there.

Seating chart’s child icon is explained on Japan Airline’s website.

But JAL cautions passengers that discrepancy may sometimes occur with regards to seat availability status.
