Uniqlo will be selling second-hand clothes in Harajuku

By on October 11, 2023

From the 11th of October until the 22nd, UNIQLO will be selling recycled and upcycled clothes as part of its aim to achieve a recycling-oriented society for a sustainable future.  The pop-up store will be held at the basement floor of UNIQLO’s Harajuku store and will sell a variety of pre-loved clothes from October 11 to 22 .

Part of the profit from this project will be donated to the Shibuya Ward Social Welfare Council to help fund its health development projects for children in Shibuya Ward.

The UNIQLO items are carefully selected, washed and inspected. Those made from wool and cashmere are washed from its knitwear-dedicated factory in Shinonome ensuring hairballs are removed before putting them out in the store shelves.

The UNIQLO clothing items to be sold were collected from customers, dyed and washed for a vintage effect. That means if you want an item that’s actually unique, chances are, you might find them here.
