See the mini version of a Parisian garden in Japan this summer

The orange garden

Nothing brightens a mood more than a bright splash of orange flowers.

You will see just that when you visit Fuji Q Highland’s La Ville de Gaspard et Lisa  (Lisa and Gaspard town) currently gearing up for its 10th anniversary offering from July 22 until September 18, 2023.

The town is named after two fictional adventure-loving characters from a popular French children’s book – Gaspard, the black one with a blue scarf and Lisa, the white one with a red scarf. They live in Paris and attend schools with humans.

As you can imagine, the park has a Parisian style cafe, panini and pastry stores, as well as a museum (not like Louvre), shops and the mini version of Paris’ symbol, the Eiffel Tower. Catch a ride with the kids on the popular Eiffel Tower carousel. And if you’re tired from all the walking, a great place to stretch your leg awaits you at the Orange garden with dazzling displays of Ginia flowers, you won’t believe you are in Japan. Unlike the original gardens in Paris, there is no pick-your-own option to take a bunch home with you. They are simply great just to enjoy.

Cap off your visit with a refreshing lemonade drink in a variety of flavors at the lemon-only stand.
