Tokyo Disneyland raises max price of 1-day ticket

By on June 25, 2023

Families are really going to feel priced out with the recent announcement by Tokyo Disney Resort operator Oriental Land Company.

Starting October 1 this year, the maximum price of a one-day admission ticket for Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will be 10,900 yen for adults exceeding 10,000 yen for the first time.

The company said it will expand the range of admission fees to reduce foot traffic on weekends and peak seasons.

But fret not – the ticket prices for kids from four to eleven years old will stay the same.

For families who can’t get enough of Disney, they have until August 28, 2023 to enjoy two consecutive days at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo Disney Resort by buying the Summer 2-Day Passport.

Additionally, the Fastpass that allows visitors shorter queuing time has now been replaced by the new Priority Pass.

By downloading the Tokyo Disney Resort App after entering the park, park visitors will be able to enter from a designated entrance to enjoy attractions at an appointed time, allowing them to make the most of their time to do and see other things.

The Priority Pass’s start date is yet to be announced and will be available any time this summer for the following attractions.
