Cute food arrangements at Kirby cafe

People by nature, eat first with their eyes, particularly children.

Getting kids to eat food at a cafe and feeding them at home is not quite the same experience. But with thoughtful food presentation, it is possible to sneak nutritious foods into your children’s diets and make them look and taste as good.

Parents who struggle to get their kids to eat fruits and vegetables need not worry. Turn to Tokyo Kirby Cafe’s cute food arrangements for ideas.

These are just some of its summer-only menu being offered from July 6 until September 18.

French toast that looks like warp star, a star-shaped flying object that appears in the game software ‘Kirby of the Stars’. (1,408 yen)

 

This is basically a fun, playful sponge cake (1,958 yen)  inspired by Kirby Discovery, a Nintendo game software. The cake has fruit jam inside coated with strawberry frosting, fresh orange, kiwi, cherries and chocolate cookies.

 

 

Kirby-themed lemon parfait in tall glass (2,728 yen) ; without glass (1,760 yen) Fancily layered lemon slice, whipped cream, sweet and sour lemon jelly sprinkled with star-shaped sugar bits, and lemon ice cream topping is not only a treat to the taste buds, it’s a refreshing treat to the eyes, too!

Urun Star Cocktail (1,540 yen)  Kirby in a marshmallow float is a non-alcoholic cocktail with bits of lemon and mint leaves.
