Warner Bros. Studio Japan is building ‘Warner Brothers Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter’ on what used to be the 30,000 sqm. Toshimaen theme park in Nerima ward.

The behind-the-scenes entertainment facility to open on June 16, 2023, offers guests a walkthrough experience of Harry Potter films and Fantastic Beasts series based on British author J.K. Rowling’s novels.

The first walkthrough exhibition outside of Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London will be divided into fourteen themes.

An upclose view of intricate and fascinating details used in the film – from animals and gorgeous costumes to props, takes three-and-a-half hours to complete, making it the largest indoor Harry Potter attraction in the world.

Visit the Platform 9 3/4 used by students of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, climb aboard the fictional steam locomotive – Hogwarts Express, and strike a pose with a luggage trolley for a full magical experience.

There is fun to be had from riding a broom and drinking a refreshing butter beer to taking a moving portrait at the Hogwarts corridor and being a part of the Quidditch game audience.

The entertainment facility will have restaurants and cafés offering English breakfast and Professor Anbridge’s afternoon tea, fish and chips, roast beef, etc.

Set to be the world’s largest Harry Potter store, novelty items especially created for Japan audience not seen in the London version, will be available at the Tokyo studio.
