Pokemon Go Developer to Launch Real-World Monster Hunter Game

Niantic Inc., the U.S. software developer of the wildly popular Pokemon Go smartphone game announced the global launch of a new Monster Hunter title for iOS and Android in September.

Distributed by Niantic and licensed by Capcom, ‘Monster Hunter Now’ is a real-world hunting action game that takes players to the streets, parks, and neighborhoods and “encounter incredible monsters in the real world,” explains the producer of the Monster Hunter series Ryozo Tsujimoto in a press release.
