Forever 21 returns to Japan after three years.

Three years after American apparel brand Forever 21 pulled out of Japan i in October 2019, it has announced its return in the spring of 2023.

Adastria, a Tokyo-based apparel management company will be running Forever 21 Japan. Its web store starts on Feb 21, 2023 with brick and mortar stores opening in the spring of the same year in the Kanto and Kansai regions.

Forever 21 brand will break away from too much focus on fast fashion items and what is trending in the U.S. as it once did. It hopes to better identify what buyers in Japan are buying and stock more of those items.
