In ancient Japan, geishas were known to use leftover water from washing rice to rinse their faces to achieve a dewy, glowing skin. They also exfoliated with ground azuki beans to remove dirt and dead skin cells.

But times have changed. As consumer preferences became more sophisticated, a wide array of soothing, fragrant scrubs flooded the market. Today, the global body scrub market alone is worth USD 13.4 billion!

Lush, a A UK cosmetics retailer that creates soaps, perfumes and scrubs generally derived from fruits and vegetables, will hold “Scrub Stand”, a store event dedicated to scrubs from July 11th (Monday) to August 31st (Wednesday), 2022.

A wide range of scrub products, from body, facial to foot will be for sale in 76 stores nationwide during the period.
