DC League of Super Pets will be released in August.

This animated comedy film scheduled for theatrical release in Japan on August 26, 2022, is about Superdog Krypto (voiced by Dwayne Johnson), who fights crime in Metropolis alongside his handler, Superman (John Krasinski).

When the Justice League is captured by villainous duo Lulu and Lex Luthor, Superman’s Labrador, Krypto, who was depowered in the process, forms a team of shelter pets who were given superpowers to save his owner and Superman’s friends.

Krypto finds help from an unlikely group of fellow animals: a Boxer named Ace, who becomes super strong and indestructible; a potbellied pig named PB, who can grow to giant-size; a super fast turtle named Merton; and a squirrel named Chip, who gains electric powers.

Expect this film to be family friendly overall, though likely with some mild language and scenes with danger and peril.
