Hanuri Korean restaurant opens in Shibuya

The fascination for Asian cuisine may have started by food vloggers and chefs but Instagram has made Korean cuisine number 4 most popular according to international food magazine Chef’s Pencil.

The opening of a new Korean restaurant couldn’t have been more timely. Hanuri which is set to open on November 12 in the Dogenzaka area of Shibuya, will be offering a gamut of traditional foods with special focus on its special homemade cold noodles and yukhoe (raw meat).

But that’s not to say, your favorite Korean classics such as kimchi, bibimbap, seafoods, hot noodles, yakiniku won’t be on the menu. They will be and even Japanese sushi for and classic kimchi hotpots to warm you up through the coming chilly season.

Another house specialty, the Samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly 1,298 yen) which is a combination of fresh pork and vegetables seasoned with kimchi.
