November NO-admission-fee days at the Snoopy Museum

By on October 28, 2021

From November 3 until 8, guests can enjoy no-admission-fee days at the Snoopy Museum in Machida to see the newly installed Snoopy doghouse, rare comic strip collection and arts celebrating the iconic beagle adored all over the world.

In the early days of the comic strip, the iconic doghouse with the red gable roof where Snoopy lives and would be seen sleeping or lying all day long is also a refuge for his good friend Woodstock. Friends like Peppermint Patty who at one time needed a place to stay while her father was away, has stayed there too along with Linus who calls the house Joe Cool’s dorm. Joe Cool is Snoopy’s alias in the Peanuts strip.

Inside the house is an important canvass oil painting on exhibit by highly acclaimed Japanese artist Rei Imai.  During the free admission days, there will be a workshop by Japanese sweets shop Okashiji Kuchiya Toyomitsu.

Snoopy Limited Edition Hoodies in Medium Large sizes at 6,600 yen will also be on sale.
