Belleville Opens store In Yokohama

Aptly named “mille-feuille” (thousand sheets French pastry), these fluffy pancakes served in multiple layers have become Belleville’s signature offering. Belleville is a pancake shop in Osaka that has been running for 60 straight years.

It has just opened a store in Yokohama offering eight-tiered Hawaiian-style pancake portions with flavors ranging from standard cream and syrup to parfait-like with strawberries and cream, bananas and chocolate. (Millefeuille  4 layers 759 yen, 8 layers 1,199 yen)

If you’re missing Hawaiian style Loco Moco plates, they have that too and everything is available for take out.
