Homebaking is on the rise as more people stay home. If you’re running out of flour from all the baking taking place at the kitchen, fret not. This recipe calls for just a cup.

This recipe contribution we think requires no expertise at baking and something you and the fam would enjoy was from a Vietnamese mom Judy Thi Le.
You need: (makes 18 cookies)
1/3 cup sugar (the recipe calls for 2/3 but feel free to adjust to your liking)
1 stick of unsalted butter, softened (room temp)
(if you have salted, you could probably remove the 1/2 tsp of salt below)
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup of all purpose flour
2 tbsp matcha powder (purchased from Amazon)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Using a handmixer, beat butter & sugar and add in egg & vanilla. Sift dry ingredients in a separate bowl and slowly add to wet ingredients. Fold in white chocolate chips using a small ice cream scoop and it yields about 18 cookies.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and preheat oven to 180C or 350F. Bake for 10 minutes.
