Moms giving birth today are faced with a conundrum of ‘coronavirus situations’, a melee of mommy-madness that simply would not go away soon.

Thanks to the forward-thinking medical staff at the Paulo Samut Prakan hospital in Thailand, they have done something smart to ensure the safety of newborn babies other hospitals haven’t done yet.

Babies at the hospital are provided with face shields as a form of preventive measure against covid-19 up to the time they are discharged.  The plastic shield offers a protection against any direct contact with virus-infected people.

Photos of these cute newborns wearing plastic protector shields posted on facebook are a reminder to everyone to remain vigilant in these unsettling times.

The hospital wrote on its facebook post, “We have extra protection measures for little ones and friends 😷 with face shield for newborn babies on their journey home. So cute Congratulations to all mothers and fathers. ✨ Wearing face shield for infants can be used for protection in case of travel within short distances.
