The Angry Birds Movie 2

Families have good reasons to like the upoming Angry Birds Movie 2.

The film based on an APP, ANGRY BIRDS,  teaches children that anger showed when someone has a bad day or when others make one feel that way, is a human emotion, and not all people are deplorable.

Red (Jason Sudeikis) the angry bird in the movie trying to exist in a polite society, but whose bad attitude won’t let him, was forced into an anger-management class. Expect scenes of birds being kicked, punched, and hurled through the air, as well as explosions.

The movie has some strong messages about what’s behind angry outbursts and the importance of taking responsibility and not judging others – all told in a funny way that resonates with kids.

And while this certainly isn’t exactly the best animated comedy, it is also not terrible. The animated world that’s been created is fun to look at. As you might expect, there are loads of funny scenes with a few of rude humor.

The cast is really good, especially Sudeikis, Rudolph, and Gad (who’s more or less doing a slightly edgier version of Olaf). The set-up is a little slow, but the end is all action. And you don’t need to know anything about the game to understand what’s going on.
