Ivorish takes French Toast up a notch

By on September 10, 2019

The French did a wonderful thing with hard, stale baguette. They sliced them into pieces and soaked them in fresh milk and beaten egg. Then,  they fried them in fresh butter and topped them with honey known today as the French toast.

But at “Ivorish” in Shibuya where the humble French toast gets a gourmet status, luscious ingredients have been thrown into the mix to create eye candy arrangements for its autumn offering  from September 10 through to November 14.

Arranged with black currants and mellow marron cream,  this hearty serving of the French toast is available in regular (¥1,700 plus tax) size and half size (¥1,200 plus tax).

Sweet Potato Brioche ¥1,600 plus tax

Wait, there’s one more – the sweet potato (brioche)! Served up in brioche fashion with sweet potatoes, chips, caramelized walnuts cheese pudding and chestnut cream, this one’s sure to fulfill your sweet cravings!
