Toyota City Showcase is not just for  grown ups.

Within the Megaweb complex is RIDE STUDIO where even kids as young as 3 years old can discover and test-drive Toyota’s state-of-the-art ‘petit’ cars.

The studio is divided into two zones:

The  “Indoor Ride One” which is a 230-meter long course for elementary school aged children and older.  The three types of cars for use in the zone are:  ‘Camatte’, ‘Pius’, and ‘Kids hybrid car’.

Petit Ride One” is for preschool age children (aged 3 to 5).

  • ・Reservations for rides will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please come directly to the Ride Studio. (Rides will be closed once there are no more reservations).

Winglet

Over at the Technology zone is the Winglet, a personal mobility robot that moves in any direction you want just by sensing body movements.  It rolls at a speed equivalent to your normal walking speed.
Adults and children can try it for free but you have to be at least  140-184 cm (4’7″-6’0″) in height and must weigh between 30 and 89 kg (66-196 lb) . You also need to wear appropriate shoes (heels or sandals not advised) and in case you are below 16, you have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  It’s the next generation mobility device so give it a try!
