There’s a new Panda Express in Chiba

By on May 23, 2018

After the success of Panda Express’s first food court style eatery in Japan at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza,  the American style Chinese food chain is adding another store in Chiba on May 25.

35-year old Panda Express runs around 2,000 quick-serve outlets in the United States and overseas with none of it franchised.  Todate, its formula yet remains unchallenged.  Although Chuuka Ryori in Tokyo adjusted to Japanese taste and the one you  find in California are both “Chinese” in origin, there remains a stark difference – the flavor.   Mandarin and Kunpao Chicken for example, are cooked using a combination of ingredients and sauces not commonly used in Japan.

The 232-square-meter Chiba store will be located inside the Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu shop, designed with a modern style interior  and 96 seats excluding the terrace seating (14 people).

Orange Chicken

A restaurant built with parents and children in mind, Panda Express will offer long-time favorites such as  Orange Chicken (sweet and sour), Mongolian Pork, Boba Tapioca, and kiddie meals for a price within reach of the average family.
