The Saku Ski Garden Parada in Nagano offers families a budget option not many ski resorts do on peak season. 

With everything from ski, onsen, food and fun available in the resort, it is possible to experience quality vacation as you would in more fancy places, for much less.

Ski Garden Parada offers a range of ski runs and slopes suitable for complete beginners as well as those working on building their ski skills. Each run is grouped according to one’s skill level and ability to tackle the run. Ski and snowboarding lessons are offered to families with help from from eager-to-please professional ski instructors. 

The resort is divided into the North and South zones connected by a mountain. On a clear sunny day, the gentle slope is a perfect place for small children to ski.

The Kids Park is packed with everything to keep your tiny tots busy and amused from a spacious gliding area for children and a huge robot air playground equipment to a snow merry-go-round, snow striders, trampolines and snow tubes.

Weekend skiing can be exhausting for all members of the family so the ideal start to your holiday would be to take to the slopes on your first day.

After tucking your kids to bed, dip into the Hiro Onsen Miharashi-no-yu to relax and soak your body aches away. Come back to Tokyo the next day feeling refreshed and rested!

If you will be traveling by car, the resort has easy access to the Joshinetsu Expressway and Sakudaira   parking area.
