Is Jurassic World Dominion any good?

This 2022 American science fiction action film directed by Colin Trevorrow will be in theatres this week.

This franchise finale reunites the original Jurassic characters with the reboot stars. The dinosaurs are less impressive this time around, with predictable battles between apex predators. The movie’s visual effects and other technical elements are high-quality though, with excellent sound design and another on-point Michael Giacchino soundtrack that incorporates John Williams’ original theme.

The movie however did feel a little more like an Indiana Jones movie than a Jurassic one.

Overall, Jurassic World Dominion was a great movie – thanks to  the three original Jurassic actors that don’t need too much support.

Despite a few missteps,  the film still delivers in terms of entertainment value.

Opens July 29 in Tokyo theatres.  Age 7+
