Shimokitazawa’s Curry Festival Is Back and Bigger Than Ever

After a two-year hiatus, Shimokitazawa Curry Festival 2021 is back for its 10th anniversary.

Around 124 participating restaurants along the hip neighborhood of Shimokitazawa will be offering take-out menus the family can take to a park or eat at home. No curry is cooked the same way. The event which hopes to be an immersive learning experience for foodies will highlight the different regional varieties of the popular global Asian street food.

Of course, there will be a few outdoor eating and drinking spaces for curry lovers but let’s remember that the pandemic isn’t over.

Highlights of the event includes collaboration T-shirts from Uniqlo, street talk by music and fashion gurus.

Shimokitazawa Curry Festival 2021

October 28th (Thursday) - November 14th (Sunday), 2021

Hours are based on the business hours of participating stores (124 curry shops around Shimokitazawa Station including 13 dessert shops)
