Ramen shop finds an excuse to serve rainbow noodles.

By on December 9, 2020
The demand for takeout food since the pandemic is growing. Yet ramen joints in Japan are struggling to survive because noodles are just not made for take-away as they easily get soggy during transit.
There’s no question that the pandemic has been devastating most particularly to ramen shops. But it is also these uncertain times that drive creative confidence in entrepreneurs.
Dosanko, the 50-year old chain of 1000 restaurants in Japan, will be adding 2 types of Rainbow Ramen to their menu from today. Rainbows being a symbol of hope in many cultures, hope to cheer customers up during these uncertain times.
A bowl of Dosanko Rainbow Ramen (¥1.280) noodles created from colored cheese fondue sauce in pink, orange, yellow, green, sky blue and purple, comes with roast pork slices and hard boiled egg.
The Happy Rainbow Ramen (¥1,280) is a  miso-curry-flavored soup topped with stir-fried vegetables, miso ball and 7 slices of roast pork covered in cheese.
It will be sold in limited quantities every day at the following Dosanko chain stores.  Check it out!
