Spanish fashion brand inspired by Japanese kimono

By on October 17, 2019

The one-size-fits-all, unconstricted lines and chic appeal of  Japan’s kimono fascinate many fashion designers from France’s Chanel and Louboutin to British label Holland Street and all over the world.

Spain-based bespoke clothing brand  Vida y Milagros (Life & Miracles) is no different.

Vida y Milagros takes the draping lines of the kimono and interprets them into timeless street-chic jacket or a hip lounge wear. Kimono jackets are very versatile and can be dressed up in many different ways to give you different looks all throughout the year.  They tie in the front with a silk sash and can be paired with your favorite loose, boots style or skinny jeans, denim shorts or dress.

The Spanish brand’s clothes are all delicately hand-stitched using decorative rich silk fabrics and colours that are vastly different from Japanese aesthetics.

The pieces come in a range of cuts, colors and length enhancing the beauty and texture of the fabric.
