Take the family out on a sailboat

By on September 10, 2018

Sailing is a fun way to learn a new skill.

Here in Tokyo, looking for an opportunity to get the children out in the fresh air and learning the sport that is as fun for kids as it is for parents, is hard to come by.

If you don’t know where to look,  Sailability Tokyo has got you covered.  It is one of the very few non-profit organizations in the city promoting fun sailing activities for everyone.  Experienced or not, people young or old, with or without disabilities, can participate in its regular events.

Sailability Tokyo offers the sailboat experience by lottery.  If you apply early, you can get lucky.  Learning how to board a wind-powered sailboat,  how to secure the water surface, or how to tie a rope are life skills best experienced by children.  What better time to get together, get under the sun and have some family fun together on a boat.

When:   Check regular events on Sailability Tokyo website well in advance
They usually hold AM/PM sessions depending on the activity.
