Japan goes into full PEANUTS nostalgia

By on August 1, 2018

The opening of Japan’s new Peanuts themed- hotel  in Kobe promises to bring nostalgic memories of one of the world’s longest-running and famous comic strips created by Charles M. Schulz.

Japan’s new hotel which opens on August 1st, ahead of Snoopy’s birthday on August 10, has 18 private rooms featuring a different Peanuts comic strip in each room.  Well-loved comic quotes and illustrations laid out in fancy detail adorning each wall hope to bring back a sense of nostalgia to its fans and guests.

By the entryway is a rug with a smiling and contented Snoopy on top of the Peanut Hotel’s logo captioned:  WHERE GUESTS FEEL COMFORTABLE, the hotel’s slogan.

Everything from toiletries and stationeries to wall decor and ambience for each of the three floors are curated according to the themes “Imagine,” “Happy,” and “Love.”

The Peanuts Cafe and Peanuts Diner will offer guests Charlie Brown’s Choco-Banana Baked Alaska and Lucy’s Cheesecake With Poppin Candy among other delicious meals.
