Line Up

By on June 8, 2015
If you are itching to get back in line since queues for Taco bell and Guzman & Gomez, Blue Bottle cafe et all have all but died down, try the line for croissants in Azabudai’s Maison Landemaine, the famed Parisian bakery that bakes these simple yet delectable creations.
The buzz is, for once, justifiable for these European size croissants.

Incidentally, they also have a school should you wish to emulate this perfection. Expect to pay a Japanese price of ¥450 ( double the Paris  version)  but you’ll get an authentic Parisian taste in  return. Harajuku has always been the focal point for new ‘foodie’ trends and an opening here guarantees lines of devotees and newbies prepared to spend the better part of a day for the latest delight. All eyes will be on the first opening of the Dominique Ansel bakery outside of Ansel’s native New York. In case you are wondering just who this guy is, he is none other than the creator of  the legendary hybrid, the ‘Cronut’. This cool addition to the queuing fraternity will no doubt draw the crowds before the inevitable trend runs its course. Until then, be sure to take your umbrella.
