Inspired leadership is (everything). Leaders in enduring companies set an example of being both inspired and inspirational. They are willing to confront the brutal facts. They can set their ego aside and listen to feedback, criticism, and ideas (even when it disagrees with their own thinking, challenges the status quo, and requires them to have courage or endure difficulty to follow through on the ideas received). They model integrity, ethics, courage, creativity and open-mindedness. They are passionate about bringing out the best ideas and creating the best results, and have no need to take public ownership of these ideas and results.
