There’s a reason the most-visited staycation destination for Tokyoites in the fall is Kyoto. The quaint charm of varying crimson and orange autumn leaves make it the fall foliage capital of Japan. If you are thinking of temple and shrine-hopping as a family this season, check out the Royal Park Hotel Kyoto (Umekoji, Kyoto City).

Staycationers with children can book the Marble Room at a fixed per room rate on any date until December 30th 2021 in celebration of Meiji Chocolate’s 60th anniversary. In most cases, hotels in Japan do not charge by the room, but by the number of people staying in a room. So special offers like this keep the costs down.

The Marble room is a kid-friendly accommodation where there is everything for kids to be busy with from quizzes and crane games to AR apps. The cute decor pairs matches its marble chocolate-themed cute mugs, smartphone rings, and snacks.

A family with elementary-school-aged children can use the beds for free with a free breakfast (buffet style) plan included.

The Marble room is a Corner Deluxe Twin type accommodation with an area of 37.4 sqm.

Price: 19,400 yen for 2 or more people. Daily accommodation rate includes service charge, consumption tax and accommodation tax per room.
