The Ashikaga Flower Park Opens for the flower-viewing season

If you’re aching for some autumn fix, then we recommend you to round up the kids, hop on the train this weekend and visit the Ashikaga Flower park for some beautiful floral sights.

Everything that’s beautiful to see this fall is over at the Ashikaga Flower Park where another inspiring illumination event called “Flowers and Light” awaits park visitors.

The event guarantees an impressive number of flowers, fall colors planted in this picturesque spot at the most romantic season of the year.

The seasonal event which will be a digital expression of the life of flowers from when they bloom and die starts October 16 and will run though Feb 14, 2022. Whether you go for floral viewing or beautiful instagram shots, expect to see Japan’s projection mapping at its finest.

The Ashikaga flower event is one of Japan’s three major celebration held each year. The other two are at the Flower Castle in Sapporo and at Huis Ten Bosch Light Kingdom.

Around 5 million balls of light will put the spotlight on wisterias and roses to ofuji and kibanas. Don’t forget to pack up some bentos. See you there!

 

Date: October 16th, 2021 (Sat) -February 14, 2022 (Mon) 16: 30-20: 30 * Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays until 21:00.

Open from early December to early January until 21:00 on weekdays and 21:30 on weekends and holidays.

Closed only on December 31, 2021 (Friday).

Admission fee: Adults 1,100 yen, Children 600 yen (Children from 4 years old to elementary school students)
