Akachan Honpo, Japan’s purveyor of baby goods and supplies has announced yesterday 2017’s Top 20 Most Popular Names for baby boys and girls.
Data from 42,416 boys, 40,501 girls have been collected from 108 Akachan Honpo stores nationwide between January 1, 2017 and here are the results:
BOYS Ren, Yuuma, Minato, Hiroto, Yuuto, Haruto, Youta, Isuki, Souta, Yuuto, Yamato, Asahi, Sou, Yuu, Yuuto, Yuuto (with a different kanji), Souma, Hinata, Arata, Haruto (written in a different kanji).
