Hawaii’s Pig and the Lady restaurant is coming to Tokyo in November
It’s official.
The fourth location of the popular Vietnamese restaurant in Hawaii, The Pig & the Lady will open in Tokyo on November 30.
The new 76-seat restaurant shares many of the same details as its sister location such as LFC (Le Fried Chicken), beef and vegan pho and the Pho French Dip Banh Mi.
French style Pho - “PHO BO SOT VANG” wine marinated strip loin steak, soft braised beef tendon, a ton of scallion & cilantro, squeeze of tart calamansi over hand cut rice noodles, in a spiced red wine infused beef broth. (photo by Pig and the lady fb page)
Transit General and The Pig & the Lady Hawaii in partnership with a newly formed company, The Pig & the Lady Japan, headquartered in Tokyo, has decided to open in Ebisu’s Ginza Cross Building.
“When we were looking for a spot, we thought it was the perfect location, the best size and overall was the perfect fit,” says a Transit General representative.
The man behind the idea who earned a number of local and national culinary awards in Hawaii is chef-owner Andrew Le. Le was greatly inspired by the Vietnamese home cooking of his mother.
