New summer attraction in Hakuba
No longer just a go-to spot in winter, Hakuba has added fun activities that can be enjoyed by families from early summer to autumn.
Tsugaike Plateau
Let Japan’s second largest gondola lift “Eve” take you to an uplifting ride between the plateau and the Tsugaike Nature Park ( 4,120 m). Enjoy the Tsugaike Panorama Way and its surrounding North Alps scenery. The wi-fi friendly Tsugaike Nature Park is located at an altitude of 1,900 m in Chubu Mountains National Park, known for its 5.5 km hiking route made of wood. Alpine plants are now in full bloom and in the beginning of July, you can experience “Takanezakura” a kind of cherry blossoms that blooms in the summer.

Xtrem Adventures HAKUBA TSUGAIKE WOW!

Inside the Tsugaike Takahara ski area opens a new adventure facility originating from France featuring 50 kinds of play and nine activities popular among a wide range of customers from young children to adults. In addition, a new BBQ zone will be in place to complete your outdoor experience.
Hakuba Happoone
Named as one of the 34 most beautiful places in Japan by CNN, the surrounding mountainous landscape of Hakuba Miyama reflected on the Hakuba pond is a spectacular sight to see on a nice clear day.
Happo-ness Natural Research Path
The Happoone Nature Research Route overlooking the Hakuba Ridge Mountain, is an easy 3.3 - kilometer hiking route surrounded by over 300 species of alpine plants, including “Happo Takane Senbri” and red harepea bamboo shoots unique to the area.
