Namco puts a twist on paper airplane play
Playing with a paper airplane is one of the most popular games fathers in Japan play with their children. But Japan’s game center and theme park operator Namco, thinks that after a few times these paper airplanes hit nosedive, boredom creeps in.
So Namco decided to spice things up a bit to keep kids amused and playing.
Namco installed what it calls a fushigi na hikoki (mysterious airplane) screen panel at Asobi Play Park in Gunma prefecture. When a preschooler hits an object on the screen with a paper airplane, the shape changes.
