The eating and drinking season is upon us. The smell of complex spices is blowing in the wind, the crowds come out in full force and Tokyo reminds us why we are lucky living in the city with its mix of tradition and style.

Japan celebrates its love for curries in a two-day Curry Festival in Yokosuka on June 3 and 4. The welcoming Yokosuka Navy and Yokosuka Maritime Self Defense Force will dish out all kinds of curry from red, yellow to green. It’s not just the food, there will also be concerts and live performances in addition to the splendid view of the sea.
