Uma no Hakubutsukan (Equine Museum of Japan)

What better way to prepare for the imminent arrival of the year of the horse than a visit to a horse museum.
Located in the Negishi Racecourse’s former site, the Uma no Hakubutsukan is a fantastic place for family edutainment. Learn about history, folklore, arts and crafts including measuring your own horsepower! Stop by the Pony Center and meet real horses from thoroughbred to miniature. Horseback riding is available all year ‘round except Mondays and holidays. Preschoolers and elementary school graders can enjoy a horse-driven carriage ride and experience feeding carrots to horses on Saturdays (1:30 to 1:45 pm).

⁃ From Negishi Station , take city bus no.21 for Sakuragi-cho Station, take city bus no.21 to Takinoue.

⁃ From Yamate Station or Negishi Station, a 15-minutes walk.(Next to Negishi Forest Park)
