Choosing a birthday cake

In western culture, a birthday cake is the star of the show. It’s no wonder - candle-blowing scenes are the most heavily photographed at parties. When choosing a birthday cake, remember that not only should it look fun and kawaii, it should also pass the taste test! It is not difficult to buy one in Tokyo if you know where to look. However you wish to liven up the feast, Tokyo offers diverse options with pastry shops offering a wide range of fun cake designs from modest to fancy at budget to extravagant prices. There’s always a cake for every occasion.
