Every barbecue needs a good recipe, of course. Here’s how we like to do it!
Delicious Weekend Barbecue
Ingredients• 4 lbs. pork or chicken
• 1 cup mild vinegar
• 3/4 cups barbecue sauce
• 1/2 cup  7-UP
• 1/2 garlic head, chopped
• 3 tsp. salt
• 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
• 1 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2-3 laurel leaves
Mix all ingredients except pork in a large bowl or pot.
Add pork or chicken and marinate for 24 hours for the meat to absorb the flavor.
Put on bamboo skewers and grill.
And let’s not forget the equipment!
Check out the Smarty gas barbecue grills. They make outdoor barbeques so much easier. Not only do they cook meat faster, there’s lava rocks too that you can put under the grill to warm up cooked meat without burning it. It‘s now sold in Japan with the Japanese approved regulator. Available in big and small models. Ships in 2-3 days. http://www.bbqshop.jp/FreePage.1.aspx
