Tokyo Families Magazine was started in March, 2005 by husband and wife team Allan Wilson and Carin Smolinski. Being owners of A.B.C International School and parents of a 2 year old, they were aware of the lack of community information for families in Tokyo. With that in mind, they created "Tokyo Families Magazine" with a mandate of making living in Tokyo a little easier for families.

Tokyo Families is a labour of love, built by a dedicated team of writers and contributors. We have been overwhelmed by the feedback and support from our readers.

Distribution
From the Mar/Apr 2006 issue our hard copy circulation, due to demand, increased from 6.000 to 7,000 and the magazine has now 40 all colour pages
