Wherever you go in Yokohama you can see the Landmark Tower, Japan`s tallest building, which dominates the skyline. It`s easy to get to from either Minato Merai Station or Sakaragicho Station on the JR line, and well worth a visit.

You can pay ¥1200 to go up to the Observation Deck on the 69th floor to see the spectacular views. But, we have found a way to enjoy the same views and at the same time have a fantastic lunch. Inside the Landmark Tower is the Royal Park Hotel, and on the 70th floor is the Sirius restaurant. Between 11.30am and 2.30pm, Sirius serves the most amazing “all you can eat” buffet for only ¥3500 !! The quality of the food and the service of the staff are both first class, and the selection of menu items is overwhelming.
As well as a splendid salad bar, there are also several choices of other appetisers and main courses with something to suit everyone, from seafood to pizza. You can watch as fresh pasta is made in front of you and then dipped in a huge wheel of Parmesan cheese, or as the chef prepares the most wonderful Australian roast beef with mashed potatoes, gravy and horseradish sauce.

For people with a sweet tooth, Sirius offers a mouthwatering array of cheesecakes, gateau and ice creams. But the longest queue is always for the freshly made crepes, fired with brandy and topped with ice cream...mmmmm!

Book early and request a window table to enjoy the spectacular views. Don’t miss this perfect place for a family feast on a Sunday afternoon!
